	About us
	Excel in Science consists of a group of fully qualified and highly experienced secondary school teachers. Some teach in the Independent and some in the State sector. Our main objective is to help improve grades. We provide classes for students aged 13 to 19 on Saturdays. We also have a separate Easter Revision Programme.

	How our Saturday sessions work
	Each of our students goes to school or college during the week. S/he then comes to receive additional, intensive coaching every Saturday. The six and a half hour day is divided between the three core subjects - English, Maths and Science. Lessons are held between 9.00am and 5.00pm. Students only need to be present for the periods when they have lessons; there are two main attending times for most students - 9am to 3pm or 11am to 5pm. Lessons take place at the premises of City University, Northampton Square, London EC1 and Greenwich University, Maritime Campus, Greenwich SE10.

	Our Teachers
	*Excel in Science* is made up of experienced and professional teachers, all of whom have taught their subjects to A level for many years. Almost all the A level teachers have held departmental or other positions of responsibility within schools. They teach in both the Independent and State Sectors, and, on average, they have over 15 years of teaching experience in London and the Home Counties. More importantly, our teachers all have experience in teaching, assessing and marking A level examinations.

	Subjects offered
	At Excel in Science our primary focus is to provide first class coaching at KS3 SAT, GCSE, AS and A2 level in the following subjects: Mathematics English Physics Chemistry Biology Core (Single), Additional (double) and Triple Award Science.
	There are about 10 students per class - taught by highly qualified and experienced teachers/examiners

	Use of interactive education software and projectors to simulate scientific experiments and analyse data in Maths Individual consultation with each student to assess her/his potential
