Easter Revision

  Why Easter Revision?

With GCSE, AS and A2 exams fast approaching, the Easter break is a key revision time. At Excel in Science we offer revision courses that concentrate on subject content, and exam preparation and exam techniques. By keeping class sizes small we are able to address the needs of each student, identifying their areas of strength and weakness and enabling them to achieve their goals.

Why Revise with Excel in Science

  • Our courses are structured to enable students to derive maximum benefit from revision with us over the Easter. Below are some of the features of our Easter revision courses:
  • Excel in Science Easter revision courses offer extensive and comprehensive revision delivered by highly experienced professional teachers
  • Students are taught in small class sizes where teachers are able to address the needs of each individual student. On average our class sizes number six
  • Teachers focus on reinforcing key topics, dealing with common ‘exam question mistakes’, and working on exam techniques
  • The Excel in Science approach minimises stress by preparing students to confidently sit their exams
Our courses are successful, with 85% of our students informing us they have achieved the improvement in grade they expect.

Our Promise to our students

Excel in Science revision courses are among the most effective in making a real difference to students’ grades

  • All our teachers are fully qualified
  • Our teachers have years of experience of teaching in British schools. Every teacher is either still teaching in mainstream education, is semi-retired or has recently retired so they are very familiar with the syllabus as well as the examiner’s expectation
  • Our teachers include examiners for some of the main examination boards
  • On Easter revision courses, study time for each subject is usually spread over a period of 4 days as opposed to between 2 and 2.5 days by other organisations, giving students more time to digest the content
  • Much emphasis is placed on examination techniques and past exam papers are used from day one of each course
  • Students are taught in smaller classes, enabling us to focus on individuals’ needs
  • Students go away a lot more confident than before they joined us. They are given resources, including past examination questions and revision guides.
