Summer Booster

Summer boosterThe Summer Booster programme prepares students for the coming academic year. It reassures students by covering areas where they have weaknesses so that they can begin the new academic year in September with improved confidence and greater subject knowledge. Much time is devoted to going through key areas of each subject so that students’ confidence is reinforced. This course is different from the Intensive Revision course in that greater time is dedicated to explaining concepts. After an understanding of the fundamental ideas is gained, students are able to tackle examination questions more competently.

The programmes we offer are for:

  • AS students starting A2 in September
  • Y11 students starting AS in September
  • Y10 students going into the last year of their GCSE
  • KS3 students starting GCSE

Groups for whom the courses are targeted:

  • AS students who are preparing for to start the final year of A-level (A2) in September
  • Y11 students who are preparing for to start the first year of A-level (AS) in September
  • Y10 students who are preparing for to start the final year of GCSE (Y11) in September
  • Y9 students who are preparing for to start the first year of GCSE (Y10) in September
  • KS3 (in Y8) students who are preparing for to start the final year KS3 (Y9) in September
(This course can also benefit Y7 students who are going into Y8 in September).
